Thanks, and Cead Mil Whatevers.
In the meantime, please feel free to shoot him an email if you come across a good Irish pub that wants a performer, or you have a question about old Irish ballads.
He has about 200 songs collected from his performances and would like to eventually make at least the lyrics of public-domain and original versions available here
Somewhat mystified by these unfriendly events, the irrepressible Irish Minstrel Boy has cranked out a down-home CD on his magic box and more or less retired to the electronic pub of the internet, where you can find him intermittently adding songs from his performances and manuscripts from his Irish history and legends research.
As the reputation of the Irish Minstrel Boy spread, he added performances at numerous Irish-themed establishments throughout the area, including Paddy McGee's, Mulvaney's, Scruffy Murphy's, Four Green Fields, Fox and Hounds, St. Mary's, Churchill's, St. Andrew's, and Nolan's, most of which either promptly folded or converted to Reggae.
Irish Music Fans came from as far away as Chicago, Ontario, London, and Tokyo to express amazement that anyone would bother to perform Irish ballads in the Florida heartland.
For those ten years, Paddy and O'keefe's were the supreme voice of the Irish ballad tradition in the Florida heartland. Well, in fact, they were the only voice of the Irish ballad tradition in the Florida heartland.
